I see fashion as fluid, ever moving...what I would have worn twenty years ago (although surprising fashionable again), probably won't make it into my closet. I want to be "fabulous at 40"!!! I've got a (slightly less expensive) variation of this outfit at home, waiting to be worn. I'm a fashionista but I'm also price conscious (aka...I hit up the second hand/vintage/resale shops A LOT).
I see so many new silhouettes, but I'm a Phoenician, and shorts are the end all be all of comfortable and chic. Just remember...you still have to cross your legs!!
Animal prints come in and out of style, pick one piece (I picked this cute Isabel De Pedro leopard cardie). I also found this awesome (but daring) sheer organza skirt by Josefin Strid (when looklet.com was still for public use). I always wanted to create a look around it, but couldn't figure out how draw the line from stunning to smutty. Working wordrobes in Phurnix during the hotter months are all about layering. Going from 110 degree heat outside, to a chilly 78 degrees in an office makes a sweater or a cute cardigan a necessity all year around.
